Why Women Rising Above Abuse?

I started Women Rising Above Abuse because I know our community is in need of it.  As a child, I was molested and raped. During that time of my life I had no outlet, nor was there any program that we knew of that could help me through those trying times.  I wanted to be delivered and healed from those past hurts, yet I found myself in emotionally and physically abusive relationships as time went on.
